Diorama

  Last week we did dioramas and I painted my hole 

background green because I was doing a waterfall and I made a pond with rocks around the side and I

made a hobo stove and at the were the grass was.Then I put trees on the side of my diorama

and put sand were the green is and put water is the shoe paper and I painted it Blue.

When we went to the fisheries

     When we went to the fisheries we looked at the crayfish and there were big and small ones.But then Salve picked one of the crayfish and everyone had a touch and then we went to the Fraser and I went in it and it was very cold.

when we went to waihirere domain

                                                                                                               When we went to waihirere domain we went for a walk with Sam the trap-man   through the bush and he stopped and shod everyone what plants what you could eat  and poisonous plant what you can't eat.Then we got kawakawa leaves to make a kawakaw tea and we boiled the water on our hobo stoves and they were nice.    

Anzac writing

 

Today we did Anzac writing about soldiers who sacrifice their lives to keep the world peaceful and  without fighting.

My thinking
Poppy's	poppies  are to remember ancestors when they went to war and fort for their lives.We remember them on Anzac  Day and we will remember them we will
Guns	soldiers use their guns to kill and protect themselves and they shall not grow old they stay young.
Warships	Warships were used to help people when they were engines.
Soldiers	soldiers were the ones  who fort for  their lives and they never never never give up.
medal	Medals  are for the soldiers who  did really well in war and one of my teachers' students donated the medal.

Foursquare pictures

These are our Foursquare drawings.My one is the one beside the bottom corner on the right

and I really want to win it because there might  win a big lot of chocolate.

Paper cups

   

                                                                                    Today we made some cups out of paper.Here are the steps and you wall need a piece of strong paper about 20 cm    5 quare and get some scissors and a ruler.

1. fold the paper in  half to make a triangle

2. fold the corner across to touch the opposite side of the triangle

3. fold corner b over corner a so that the top edges of the two flaps meet.

4. fold c towards you along the dotted line and tuck it inside the flap of b.

5. turn the paper over and fold d down.

6. open up your paper  cup and try it out. cheers

Tanemahuta art

 

                                                                                                                              yesterday we did some art.we did Tanemahuta for our art.here are the steps to make it.

1. get a piece of paper and write your name on the back.

2. get cold colour pastels.

3. you can do any type of shape animals flowers and make sure they are not to big or there will only be one colour you need to do them sort of thin.

4. cover it in  black paint and don't make the black paint to thick and it doesn't matter if you can see a little bit of colour.

5. then let it dry and a sunny spot.

6. then you need to plan out what you are going to draw are drawing Tanemahuta but you can choose anything if you want to.

6. when it's dry you need to get a toothpick and look at your design what you made and then try to sketch it out and then I will come out with different colours.
